Problem(Abstract)

TEM uses the OpenSSL library's implementation of the RSA and SHA1 algorithms to digitally sign and verify Fixlet messages and Fixlet message actions.

Resolving the problem

Tivoli Endpoint Manager uses the OpenSSL library's implementation of the RSA and SHA1 algorithms to digitally sign and verify Fixlet messages and Fixlet message actions. TEM uses digital signatures to ensure that no unauthorized Fixlet message content will be gathered from the Fixlet sites and no unauthorized actions will be taken on the TEM Clients in your network.
