TEM Server Diagnostics Tool is giving me a warning that the IP address is incorrect.

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

An error indicates that the IP address or hostname in the masthead file does not match the IP address/hostname of the computer running the TEM Server.

Resolving the problem

The TEM Server Diagnostics Tool error indicates that the IP address or hostname in the masthead file does not match the IP address/hostname of the computer running the TEM Server. One of the initial configuration parameters of the TEM install is the IP address/hostname of the computer that is running the TEM Server (which is stored in the masthead file). If the IP address/hostname from the masthead file does not match the IP address/hostname of the TEM Server (i.e., resolving the web address or IP address doesn't point to the TEM Server), then TEM will not function properly.

To fix this problem, change the IP address/hostname of the TEM Server back to match the IP address/hostname of the masthead file. If you can not change the IP or the domain name to match the masthead, please be aware you may have to uninstall the TEM server and TEM clients, and reinstall using a new license token that you will need to get authorized from your sales rep and contact the licensing department.

For evaluation versions, you can remove TEM and re-run the TEM Evaluation version, and reinstall the TEM clients.
