Troubleshooting a warning of the BESGather service in the TEM Diagnostics utility.

Resolving the problem

In the default installation of TEM, the only component that accesses the Internet is the TEM Gather service that runs on the TEM Server computer. This error in the TEM Diagnostics Tool indicates that the good TEM Gather service cannot access the Internet for some reason.

Often this problem occurs if the network has a proxy that requires authentication. Please read KB article 105 for more information on how to fix this problem.
