TEM Diagnostics is giving me a warning that one of my services is not working

BES Services not working according to the TEM Diagnostics utility interface.

Resolving the problem

Verify that the BES services are correctly installed and running:

  1. Open the Windows Services dialog at Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
  2. "BES FillDB", "BES GatherDB ", "BES Root Server", and "BES Gather Service" should all appear in the Services dialog and their "Status" should be "Started". (If Web Reports is installed, then "BES Web Reports Server" should be started too.)
  3. If any of the BES services are not installed, if the services are disabled, or if the services will not start, then try uninstalling the TEM Server, restart the computer, and reinstall the TEM Server.
