Some Lotus Notes fields are not displayed when previewing emails from IBM Content Collector.

Technote (troubleshooting)


When previewing Lotus Notes emails after emails are archived and stubbed using IBM Content Collector, some fields such as From, To and Subject are not displayed.


In the preview, fields such as From, To and Subject are missing.


One known reason that may cause the problem is an incorrect path to the icu4j-charsets-4_4_2.jar.

Diagnosing the problem

Look for errors in the logs located in the WebSphere ffdc directory. For example:


You may see an error similar to the following message:

[7/14/11 0:51:45:991 PDT] FFDC ProbeId:200 Reporter:java.lang.Class@37763776 C:\IBM\WEBSPH~1\APPSER~1\profiles\AFUWeb\installedApps\myserverNode01Cell\afu_web.ear\
afu_web.war\WEB-INF\lib\icu4j-charsets-4_4_2.jar (The system cannot find the path specified.)

Resolving the problem

In your cluster deployment, update classpath to the correct location.
