Abstract
ISM 7.3 fails to upgrade TRANSX profiles correctly. This can lead to an inability to configure the ISM from the TEPS.

After upgrading to ISM 7.3 if there are profiles that contain TRANSX monitor elements you will not be able to configure those profiles onto a machine. TRANSX profiles created after upgrade will be fine. Profiles not containing TRANSX monitor elements are not affected by this defect. This defect is described in APAR IV02709.
If you try to apply an upgraded TRANSX element to a host you will receive a configuration failed message and the following errors will appear in the kisagent.log.
Error: Element checksum not found.
Error: Emitting profile to E:\IBM\ITM\TMAITM6\ism\profiles\active\transx.xml
Error: ISMBatch command failed
