Unable to save TBSM Security Configuration Changes

Problem(Abstract)

When changing the TBSM Server security configuration, adding a realm, for example, the UI allows me to add, save and apply the new realm, but when I navigate from the page and return my new realm is gone.

Resolving the problem

There could be many reasons why this error could occur, but one possibility that is easily addressed is a corrupted WebSphere cache.

To remedy this, please stop the TBSM Dashboard server and clear all the files in the


<TIP_HOME>/profiles/TIPProfile/temp
<TIP_HOME>/profiles/TIPProfile/wstemp
<TIP_HOME>/profiles/TIPProfile/config/temp

subdirectories and child subdirectories, and restart your TBSM Dashboard server.
