Cognos Controller 10.1 Recommended Product Corrections

October 14, 2011: Selected product corrections are contained in Interim Fix 2. This includes an issue identified in Controller 10.1 that prevents the product from functioning when the authentication method is set to "Cognos".

When an administrator configures Controller to set the authentication method to "Cognos", users will be unable to launch Controller. Users will receive the error:

"An error occurred... Index was outside the bounds of the array... ControllerReportNetService"

This issue does not occur when the authentication method is set to "Native". This issue also affects interoperability with Clarity FSR when using Controller with both FSR and Cognos 10.1. APAR PM42669 has been logged for this issue and is corrected in Interim Fix 2.

We strongly recommend all customers using Controller 10.1 to apply Interim Fix 2 as soon as possible.
