Is it possible to use different cost options for issuing items?
Answer
Yes, in Maximo 7.5 you now have several options for the cost that is used during inventory issue. You have the option to choose Standard, Average, LIFO (last-in first-out ), or FIFO (first-in first-out) costs. You can configure this option by going to the Organizations application and selecting "Inventory Options". Next, select "Inventory Costs" to select the cost option that best fits your business needs.
