Troubleshooting


Problem

After migrating a database and trying to run tasks in Task Center the following error is returned: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0423N Locator variable "1" does not currently represent any value. SQLSTATE=0F001

Symptom

N.A

Cause

This could be caused by running out of available LOB handles which in turn causes the error to be returned.

Resolving The Problem

Please check the db2cli.ini file for any PATCH2 entries and remove them if needed. This entry can be found under the databases or COMMON section of that file.

example:

[TESTDB]
PATCH2=50 <remove this>
autocommit=1
