General Availability of ILOG ODM Enterprise version 3.5 is 3 June 2011 for electronic availability and 8 July 2011 for media availability. IBM ILOG Optimization products and solutions enable business leaders and analysts alike to confidently make complex, data-driven decisions, fully recognizing trade-offs due to limited resources. IBM ILOG ODM Enterprise
- Delivers an enterprise-class platform for building optimization-based custom planning and scheduling applications. Solutions built with ODM Enterprise offer out-of-the-box support for what-if analysis, scenario management and comparison, data analysis with drill-down and graphical display, and data exchange with Microsoft® Word, Excel, and other Office tools. Local or distributed planners can collaborate and manage shared scenarios through a central repository.
- Allows clients and system integrators to design, implement, and maintain forward-looking analytical decision support solutions that enable lines of business (LOB) to make informed decisions and create efficient resource plans and schedules.
- Includes the ability to leverage IBM WebSphere® Application Server for scalable server-based mathematical computations, and IBM DB2® for large-scale scenario management and collaboration.
- Embeds and integrates the CPLEX Optimization Studio modules to facilitate optimization model development, in particular, the CPLEX Studio modeling environment, the OPL modeling language, and the CPLEX Optimizer and CPLEX CP Optimizer engines. Integration of legacy optimization engines and techniques is also possible.
