General Availability of IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio version 12.3 is 3 June 2011 for electronic availability and 8 July 2011 for media availability. IBM ILOG Optimization products and solutions enable business leaders and analysts alike to confidently make complex, data-driven decisions, fully recognizing trade-offs due to limited resources. IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio
- Offers a consolidated toolkit enabling efficient modeling and solving of analytical optimization problems. CPLEX Optimization Studio supports end-to-endmathematical modeling from prototyping through operational deployment with the OPL modeling language and the Eclipse-based Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
- Includes cutting-edge, CPLEX Optimizer solver engines for mathematical programming and constraint programming that are stable, high-speed, accurate, and reliable. They provide powerful default settings for the novice or intermediate user to achieve good performance while allowing the full flexibility and control required by the most demanding experts.
- Provides an open architecture, allowing access to CPLEX Optimizer engines from other programming languages, including Java™, C++,.NET, as well connectors for Python and other platforms. It also facilitates interoperability with other modeling languages, tools and systems.
