Problem
If you are using Rational ClearQuest Application Lifecycle Management Packages, Version 1.3 with ClearQuest Eclipse 7.1.2 or 7.1.2.1, you may experience random crashes of ClearQuest Eclipse when you attempt an action, such as CreateTask or QuestionOrComment, which executes the pop-up forms capability of ClearQuest 7.1.2.
Symptom
A random crash of ClearQuest Eclipse 7.1.2 or 7.1.2.1 may occur when an action is taken by a user that causes the popup form code to execute.
Cause
A known defect in ClearQuest Eclipse 7.1.2 and 7.1.2.1 in which a freed memory pointer is referenced.
Resolving The Problem
Upgrading to ClearQuest 7.1.2.2 will resolve this issue.
