Technote (troubleshooting)
Problem
When a MIME message contains a ![endif] tag, Notes fails to handle the tag properly and the content displays malformed. As shown in the following picture, the inline images display as attachments in the message and the original image is replaced with a box with a red "X".
Resolving the problem
This issue is fixed in 8.5.2 Fix Pack 3 and 8.5.3.

Workaround
Disable embedded browser for MIME mail
