Troubleshooting
Problem
When trying to launch TM1 Contributor, the URL loops changing from one URL to another over and over again and Contributor will not launch. No error is thrown, just a blank Contributor screen.
Resolving The Problem
Bring up the variables_plan.xml from the install directory\templates\ps\portal\ on the BI gateway machine. Make sure that the URL in this points to the planning.html file.
Go to the Apache Tomcat install directory and bring up the pmpsvc_config.xml in the path: \Tomcat 6.0\webapps\pmpsvc\WEB-INF\configuration. Make sure that the correct machine name is showing for the dispatcher URI. When the looping is occurring it is searching for the correct dispatcher and not finding it. While there, confirm the machine name for the gateway URI as well and save any changes that are made.
Attempt launching again.
