How to resolve eligibility issues for Passport Advantage and IBM Fix Central

How do you obtain permissions to access Passport Advantage and to download software from IBM Fix Central?


You need to download IBM products and fixes for which your company is entitled.


In order to download most of the fixes from IBM Fix Central (for the products to which your company is entitled) and to access Passport Advantage pages you need to have permissions.

To obtain permissions , you need to do as follows:

  1. Contact the Primary Contact at your company to request Passport Advantage access.
    • If you do not know who is the Primary Contact for your company, call eCustomer Care (800-978-2246 then 1).

      Note: You will need to tell them the IBM Customer number for your company.

  2. After being added, check if you can log in into Passport Advantage, to your account.
    • If you can log in to Passport Advantage, you will also be eligible to download fixes for all products and versions which are under your support contract.
