Question & Answer
Question
How do you recreate databases in Teamworks 7.0.x and WebSphere Lombardi Edition?
Answer
If you need to recreate your databases in Teamworks 7.0.x and WebSphere Lombardi Edition, you can use the twinit tool located in the following directory:
...\Teamworks_home_folder\twinit\
Use the steps in this document with the twinit tool to recreate the databases. You do not have to drop the entire databases and recreate them unlike previous versions of Teamworks.
On AIX, HP-UX, Linux, and Solaris operating systems, use the twinit.sh script with the same syntax.
For the Process Center/Server:
- Stop your Process Center / Process Server
- Clean the Process Center / Process Server using the following command:
twinit.cmd cleanProcDB - Rebuild the Process Center / Process Server using the following commands:
twinit.cmd createStructureProcDB
twinit.cmd initializeProcDB - Import the SystemData
twinit.cmd importSystemData - Create the stored procedure for the Process Server using the following command:
twinit.cmd createProcedurePS
For the Performance Data Warehouse:
- Stop your Performance Data Warehouse.
- Clean the Performance database using the following command:
twinit.cmd cleanPerfDB - Rebuild the Performance database using the following commands:
twinit.cmd createStructurePerfDB
twinit.cmd initializePerfDB
For both Process Center / Process Server and Performance Data Warehouse:
- Stop both Process Center / Process Server and Performance Data Warehouse.
- Clean both databases using the following command:
twinit.cmd cleanDB - Rebuild the databases and import SystemData using the following command:
twinit.cmd bootstrap
