Question
Does TPM-AIX-WAPR mgmt still require SSH and SCP to be set up with root user ID for the communication between TPM and the host platform server?
Answer
TPM support for management of AIX WAPR does not require SSH and SCP to be set up using root user ID any more. The root user ID requirement has been relaxed with the use of sudo ID. The SSH and SCP credentials can be set up with sudo ID which has root authority to issue commands.
This enhancement is available in TPM 7.2 FP00002.
