Question

How do I send an attachment with the Service Request Manager (or any other application) through the communication log (template)?

Answer

You can create or modify a communication template using the SR object and use the "Attachment Folders" options.

For example, You want to send an attachment when close the Service Request (SR).
(Service Request resolved (to assignee))

GoTo -> Administration -> Communication Templates
SRRESOWN
Click on "Attachment Folders" tab
Select the check box for the column "Send with Communication" when your Application need is met.

[Do not select every box as undesired results could occur. ]
ie: [ERROR] Failed to execute notification on escalation: {WCSRRESOLVED} reference point: {129} for object {SR} with id {22546} psdi.util.MXApplicationException: BMXAA4129E - Record already exists
for Owner Table=COMMLOG, Owner ID=12345,6789, Docinfo ID=15,555, Document Folder=Attachments.

Activate (ACTIVE)
and Test your change thru the communication log in the SR.
