Is there a way to avoid the comma separator in the integer value format.

Question & Answer

Question

When an attribute is defined as either smallint or Integer data type and shown in the screen, the value entered in the field shows like "1,300"

Answer

Is there any setup/configuration to define the format of Integer values to be shown in the screen?

Maximo controls the format of integers based on the user's locale
choice under Profile. Typically that means a comma (1,234) or period
(1.234) based on what the thousandth separator for that locale is. If
this is changed, it is changed for all integers throughout Maximo. If the locale in not set in your user profile then it should use the locale setting of your environment. Changing your
locale may change the format of other data types so you will need to
investigate if you want to change to a different locale and if so which one.

The Regional and Language Options settings are located in Control Panel on a Windows Server 2003-based computer. With Regional and Language Options in Control Panel, you can change the format Windows uses to display dates, times, currency amounts, large numbers, and numbers with decimal fractions.
