The end of support date for WebSphere Development Studio Client for System i 7.0 was April 30, 2010.

WORKAROUND:

Depending on the features you need, there are several options to replace WebSphere Development Studio Client for System i that you can try free for a 60 day trial.

There are three editions of Rational Developer for i version 9.0 include:

  • RPG and COBOL Tools
  • RPG and COBOL + Modernization Tools, Java Edition
  • RPG and COBOL + Modernization Tools, EGL Edition

Notes:

  • IBM Rational Developer for i is the newest version of the family. Customers are encouraged to move to IBM Rational Developer for i for new features and more current maintenance.
