How do I set the DSHOME environment variable on a Windows Server?
Generally, the environment variable DSHOME is not set on a Windows platform. However, it may become necessary to set it when using routines or other code which have been developed to work across UNIX and Windows, and for which there is a dependency on the DSHOME environment variable.
Depending on the desired scope, DSHOME can be added at the system level, at the project level, or the job level as an environment variable. The DSHOME directory is the DSEngine directory within the InformationServer\Server directory. For example:
You can verify that DSHOME is in the environment for a particular job by examining the full job log, which contains all environment variables and the values they are set to.
