What are the supported FTP commands for a WebSphere DataPower SOA appliance?
Answer
WebSphere DataPower supports following raw FTP commands.
Note that these commands are not the same as the commands used in the normal FTP client.
AUTH, CCC, CDUP, CWD, DELE, EPRT, EPSV, FEAT, LIST, MKD, MODE, NLST, NOOP, P@SW, PASS, PASV, PBSZ, PORT, PROT, PWD, QUIT, REST, RETR, RMD, RNFR, RNTO, SITE, SIZE, STAT, STOR, STOU, STRU, TYPE, USER, XCUP, XCWD, XMKD, XPWD, XRMD
- For MODE, MODE S and MODE Z are supported.
- For TYPE, TYPE A, TYPE A N, TYPE A T, TYPE A C, TYPE I, TYPE L 8 are supported.
The response to a FEAT command (in terms of optional commands supported) are:
- AUTH TLS
- EPRT
- EPSV
- MODE Z
- PASV
- PROT
- REST STREAM (not in transparent mode, and not recommended for use)
- SIZE (not in transparent mode)
In transparent mode the supported commands are limited. The following listed commands are tested and confirmed supported:
CDUP, CWD, DELE, EPRT, EPSV, FEAT, LIST, MODE, NLST, NOOP, P@SW, PASS, PASV, PORT, PROT, PWD, QUIT, RETR, STAT, STOR, STOU, STRU, TYPE, USER, XCUP, XCWD, XPWD
