Abstract

Review this document to find out which Db2 versions and fix pack levels support the AIX 7.1 operating system.

Content

The following Db2 versions support the AIX 7.1 operating system:

  • Db2 Version 9.1
  • Db2 Version 9.5
  • Db2 Version 9.7
  • Db2 Version 9.8 Fix Pack 3 or later
  • Db2 Version 10.1
  • Db2 Version 10.5
  • Db2 Version 11.1

If you plan to install Db2 products on AIX 7.1 operating systems and are using the Db2 High Availability Feature, you must ensure that the following minimum Db2 fix pack levels are installed:
  • Db2 Version 9.1 Fix Pack 10
  • Db2 Version 9.5 Fix Pack 6a
  • Db2 Version 9.7 Fix Pack 3
  • Db2 Version 9.8 Fix Pack 3

Note: Please check with your application vendors for any additional dependencies or prerequisites.
