Cause
You get this error message when your have a combination of telelogic/rational license server version which was released prior to Rational License Server 8.1.1 and a license file that was generated after 1 September 2010. With the release of Rational License server 8.1.1 which incorporates all of telelogic, rational and ibmratl vendor daemon and supports licenses for all Rational products (including Telelogic) on the same installation, the Rational License Key Center (LKC) was updated to include all vendor daemons by default for any licenses generated for Rational products. So, if you have the previous installation of license server than it would only have the telelogic daemon and since the other two vendor daemons listed in the license file is not available on the system, the license manager is simply reporting about those daemon status on the output that you see for "Perform Status Enquiry".
Resolving the problem
The issue, though harmles,s can be corrected by deleting the ibmratl and rational vendor daemon line from the license file.
