Problem(Abstract)
In a cluster, if the IBM WebSphere Application Server connected via Parlay Connector to the Gateway is hung, then the Parlay Connector stops processing the heart beat pulses for the duration of the hang. Once the JVM is unhung, processing of pulses will start automatically. The refresh of notifications and report notifications will not be affected.
Resolving the problem
This is a known IBM WebSphere Telecom Web Services Server 6.2 iFix 013 limitation when tested with WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.29 and 6.1.0.31. It will be addressed in a future interim fix or fix pack.
