Abstract
This document describes the software and firmware stack recommended for the IBM Smart Analytics System 5600 V2. This technote applies to systems based on System x3650 M3 servers, DS3500 storage, and Juniper and IBM Ethernet switches.

IBM Smart Analytics System Support strongly recommends that you remain on a recommended software and firmware stack for an IBM Smart Analytics System environment. If you must deviate from a recommended stack, consult the FAQ about software and firmware upgrades.
