Problem
This technote explains how to resolve an CRJAZ0745I error, that can occur when retrieving users from the external user directory in IBM Rational Team Concert.
Symptom
Users are getting you are not authorized to access the Jazz page they are trying to access after key in their LDAP id and password. The LDAP nightly sync is unable to import LDAP users to the Jazz server.
Cause
The 'Group Member Property' attribute was not set properly from the Jazz/setup page. The default value is set to members. That assumes your LDAP group record has an attribute named members representing member of the group. To verify this attribute exist, follow instructions documented in technote: 1445366: How to verify LDAP parameters for Jazz Team server configuration
Resolving The Problem
Update "Group Member" Property under the Jazz/setup page, or the advanced properties page under the server tab in Jazz/admin page with the correct value.
