A new version of the Netcool/OMNIbus Probe for TL1 will be available to download from December 11, 2014.
Content
This version of the probe has been updated to add the following functionality:
- Extended support for the two hosts file formats.
- New SlaveMode property that allows you to reduce event traffic when running TL1 probes in a peer-to-peer failover.
- New StreamCaptureFileAppend property that allows you to specify that the probe appends the stream capture file rather than overwriting it.
- Monitoring the login status of the various network elements on a TL1 device.
This release also incorporates the following resolved APARs:
- IV21551 - Probe will not break elements if the delimiter is enclosed within escaped quotes.
- IV12503 - Probe now fetches event until end and will not discard buffer if delay between lines.
- IV13387 - Create new $TID token as event-static element.
- IZ99919 - Update regexp usage to comply with Omnibus 7.2.1 base netcool library.
- IZ91949 - Alarms with an extra space between the date and time in the header are not parsed.
