How do you access Technical Support for IBM Security Systems products?

Answer


Remote technical support is available electronically via the Web or by telephone. You can obtain assistance from IBM Software Support for suspected defects and product-specific questions related to the installation or operation of currently supported IBM Security Systems products.

Web (electronic) support
The IBM Software Support website is located at http://www.ibm.com/support/entry/portal/support.

Telephone (voice) support
Visit the Directory of worldwide contacts to find the telephone number for your local IBM Support Center. On the Directory of worldwide contacts page, click the link for the country that corresponds to your location and look for the section entitled Support (see example below) to find your local IBM Software Support telephone number.



Important: When contacting IBM Software Support by telephone, listen carefully to the prompts and always select option 2 for Software Support. Support for IBM Security products, including IBM Security appliance-based products, is provided by IBM Software Support. When contacting IBM Software Support, be prepared to provide your IBM Customer Number (ICN).
