Rational Directory Server version shows as 18.104.22.168 after upgrading to Rational Directory Server 22.214.171.124
After you upgrade IBM Rational Directory Server (RDS) from 126.96.36.199 to 188.8.131.52, you may still see the version of IBM Rational Directory Server as 184.108.40.206.
The version number of RDS shows 220.127.116.11 in the About RDS window (Login to RDA > Help > About RDS) and also in About DOORS window (Login to DOORS > Help > About DOORS) after upgrading RDS to 18.104.22.168 (Fix Pack2) version.
This behavior is observed when the Microsoft Windows user account used for upgrading RDS to 22.214.171.124 (Fix Pack2) is different from the Microsoft Windows user account which was initially used while installing RDS 126.96.36.199.
Resolving the problem
To resolve this, you will have to login to Microsoft Windows with the same user account that is used while installing RDS 188.8.131.52 and then re-run the installation of RDS 184.108.40.206 (Fix Pack2).
