Problem(Abstract)
Trying to import a new license key on the license key administrator an error generated:
"These License Keys are not for this machine" though you are sure that the host data used are correct and extracted directly from the License Key Administrator> License key> Host data.
Cause
One of the possible causes of this error is that the license key is generated using Disk Serial Number for Windows but in the License Key Center the Ethernet address format is selected. See screen capture below:
Resolving the problem
To resolve this issue you need to return this key back to the License Key Center and regenerate it using the correct format.
Note that if you are using the Disk Serial Number for Windows you must make sure that this format is also selected before you click Generate.
If you want to use Ethernet Address which is also possible you have also to select this from the scroll list as mentioned above.
