Restore Repositories to a FastBack Server

Technote (FAQ)

Question

Is it possible to recreate the FastBack repositories of a crashed FastBack disk repository from the DR hub.

Cause

FastBack Server disk crashed

Answer

No. It is not supported to "move" or "restore" data from the DR Hub repository to the FastBack Server repository.

The DR Hub repository is designed to be used for those cases where a client machine needs to restore data when the FastBack Server Repository is unavailable. However, the DR Hub was never intended to be able to re-create the data in a FastBack Server repository.
