When using IBM Rational Quality Manager with a Firefox browser the following error might be received when attempting to link test cases: There were problems modifying links that require the referenced resource to maintain a back link Problem creating a back link in 99: AABBCCYYXX

Symptom

The following errors are observed:

Resolving The Problem

To resolve the errors:

Clear the Firefox cache
Ensure that the user has administrative repository permission
