Technote (FAQ)

Question

What does the Average calls per minute counter measure when a component is configured with multiple threads in FileNet® P8 Component Manager?

Answer

The Average calls per minute counter will measure the average number of calls for each thread.

For example, suppose you are testing a component with one thread and two threads separately. In each case, you observe the same Average calls per minute values in Process Task Manager. That means that the component processes twice as many calls with two threads, because each thread is processing calls at the rate indicated by the Average calls per minute counter.
