Accessing a recovery CD or DVD for a Proventia or IBM Security appliance

Question

How do you obtain a recovery CD or DVD for your appliance?

Answer

Physical media is no longer available for order or purchase. All appliance recovery CD or DVD images are available on the IBM Security License Key and Download Center. To locate the image for your appliance, follow the instructions that are listed below:
  1. Log in to the IBM Security License Key and Download Center.
  2. Click Download under the My Software section on the left of the page.
  3. Click the name of your product under Browse My Software and Documentation > My Products.
  4. Click the specific version of your appliance under Product Lines.
  5. Click the Firmware and Recovery Image link for the wanted firmware version.
  6. Download the Recovery Image (ISO) file.
Note: SiteProtector Appliances are restored via a self contained restoration partition as described in Technote 1436077: Procedure to reimage the SiteProtector appliance from hard disk boot menu.
