Question
How do you view driver statistics on GX6 and GX7 series appliances since they do not support the adapterdump command?
Answer
The GX6 and GX7 appliances do not support the adapterdump command, which would enable users to see the driver statistics of the monitoring interfaces from the command line.
This information can be found under Monitor Health and Statistics > Network > Network Driver Statistics in the Local Management Interface (LMI).
This information is also available on the command line in the following file: /tmp/drv-stats.txt. However, this information is only updated when you view the LMI.
If you would like to update this file without using the LMI, run the following command:
The file now has the latest driver statistics.
