Question
Does Proventia ADS support named instances of Microsoft SQL server?
Answer
The Proventia Anomaly Detection System does not support the Microsoft SQL Instance, which was required for a cluster installation of Microsoft SQL(r). Microsoft SQL(r) 2005 and up now allow users to install virtual server using Default instance. With this type of deployment, users will be able to register Proventia ADS using the standard procedure.
