Problem
This document contains a list of part numbers to download the IBM® Global Security Kit (GSKit). The GSKit libraries contained in the "IBM® Db2® Support Files for SSL Functionality" image that can be download from Passport Advantage.
Cause
A Db2® 11.5 client does not require the GSKit. They require only a copy of the Server's certificate (or the Signing Authority Root Certificate). For Windows® clients, use the Windows® keystore. For other clients, use the db2dsdriver.cfg.
If a Db2® Client version before 10.5FP 5 and v11.1 GA is being installed on a separate computer, the GSKit is required to allow SSL/TLS communications. You can install the GSKit libraries from the IBM® Db2® Support Files for SSL Functionality DVD. Alternatively, you can install from an image downloaded from Passport Advantage® using the part numbers listed. Db2® Client versions 10.5 FP5 and v11.1 GA onwards include the required GSKit libraries, but the GSKit would still be required to execute GSKCapiCmd commands.
Resolving The Problem
Find the part number from the list and then download it from Passport Advantage .

The GSkit is not Db2 version specific. If you are running Db2 10.1 or Db2 9.7 and require GSKit version 8.0.50.57, simply download the Part Number that corresponds to your Operating System.
