Applications packaged as standalone will contain a private repository with all the required modules so that the zip may be resolved in most cases. Only applications packaged as shared are valid for publication to a shared repository.
Prior to IBM WebSphere sMash V22.214.171.124 fixpack, customers attempting to publish standalone applications may encounter the following error:
CWPZT0867W: The ivy.file could not be found in the zip file
IBM WebSphere sMash v126.96.36.199 or later issues an improved error message; however, the operation itself, publishing a standalone application, is not valid. The new error message is as follows:
CWPZT0867W: The myTest/config/ivy.xml could not be found in the myTest-1.0.0.zip file.
Resolving the problem
Package using the shared option if the application is to be published. Do not use standalone for applications that are to be published.
