OMEGAMON XE z/OS 1.12 product currency support PTFs Version 410, 420 and later

OMEGAMON z/OS 1.12 currency support is being provided for Versions 410, 420 and later releases of OMEGAMON XE z/OS products. Only products requiring currency support are listed in this document. If you do not see your product listed, then it has no currency requirements for z/OS 1.12. The information in this posting is being provided to help you plan and determine currency support requirements for OMEGAMON products that run on z/OS.

The APARs and PTFs listed in the table below are available today.

The following list summarizes functional changes implemented in OMEGAMON products for z/OS 1.12 Currency:
1. Basic currency  (BC)
2. CPU Infrastructure currency (CP)
3. Communications Server currency  (CS)
4. RMF currency (RMF)

The table shown below specifies APARs that provide OMEGAMON products z/OS 1.12 currency. Note that there are APARs that apply to shared components (e.g. ITMS:Engine). Please examine the notes following the table for additional support considerations and for a list of IBM Tivoli products that are dependent on the specified shared components.

• The codes listed in the “Functional Changes” column correspond to the above listed functional areas.
• Items listed in the “PTF” table column may be obtained from the IBM Tivoli Product Maintenance download site http://www.ibm.com/support/

Note that the PTFs require fairly current maintenance levels. You may need to obtain prerequisite maintenance. http://www.ibm.com/support/

Several products require z/OS 1.11 currency maintenance and are not listed in this table. Please refer to this document for z/OS 1.11 currency maintenance.
