Historical exports fail with error status = 66

Technote (troubleshooting)


An ITM 6 agent attempts to export historical data and the export fails writing this error to the ITM Agent log:
sourceObject open() failed, status = 66, for object <KPX_CPU_SUMMARY> table KPX08CPUSU appl KPX


Data missing from data warehouse and history binary files continue to grow at the Agent

Resolving the problem

Error code 66 indicates there is a problem with the configuration file (khdexp.cfg) used by the agent.

1) Stop the agent

2) Move the khdexp.cfg file used by the agent to a temporary storage location.

The khdexp.cfg file will vary depending on the agent type.

example of location for OS agents

Linux OS agent: /opt/IBM/ITM/lx8266/lz/hist/khdexp.cfg

UNIX OS agent: /opt/IBM/ITM/<interp-type>/ux/hist/khdexp.cfg

Windows OS agent: C:\IBM\ITM\TMAITM6_x64\logs\History\KNT\khdexp.cfg

3) Restart the agent

Once the agent restarts, it will generate a new khdexp.cfg file, and exports will begin.
