Problem
By default, a Cognos Viewer displayed within a Portal Page will not show the Options toolbar unless the Cognos Viewer is Maximized. This document provides the steps to show the Options toolbar when the Viewer is not maximized.

Missing Options Toolbar in Cognos Viewer.

Resolving The Problem
- On the Cognos Portal Page, click the Edit button for the Cognos Viewer.
- Under the Entry section, click the link for Report Properties.
- In the Set the properties - Cognos Viewer dialog scroll to the bottom.
- Under View Options ensure that both the Normal mode and Maximize mode are checked.
- Click OK.
- Click OK again.
- You should now be able to see the Toolbar options in the Cognos Viewer.
