Abstract

A memory leak has been fixed for the 6.1.3 Mobility Client. The leak was inadvertently introduced in the 6.1.3 Client.

Content

A memory leak was discovered within the 6.1.3 Mobility Client for Windows. This leak can cause a general degradation in Client performance, and may also result in the Client suddenly disappearing from the System Tray as artcore.exe has abnormally terminated. Other symptoms can include unexpected lost connections / sessions with the Connection Manager.

This problem is considered to have a potential impact to all 6.1.3 Mobility Clients for Windows. IBM Lotus Mobile Connect support is recommending strongly that APAR IZ72317 be installed for the Mobility Client.
