Abstract
New Communications Server discussion forums are now available on developerWorks.
Content
With the closing of IBM's Usenet News server, the various Communications Server discussion groups that were hosted there are no longer available. To replace this, the IBM developerWorks site now hosts the following forums for the Communications Server community:
- z/OS Communications Server (VTAM, SNA, TCPIP)
- Communications Server for AIX, Linux, Linux on System z, and Windows (SNA on distributed platforms)
The aim of these forums is to provide a communication channel for users of IBM Communications Server, to obtain help from peers, share experiences and solutions with peers, or report problems, or suggest improvements to Communications Server developers.
IBM will monitor these forums and may respond from time to time, but the basic reason for these forums is to provide a place for you, the end users of our products, to exchange ideas.
While anyone may read the forum messages, if you want to post a message or response, you will need to become a registered user. We encourage you to register and take full advantage of this forum.
