How do I get my IBM Customer Number? How do I get my IBM Site Number?
IBM uses two sets of numbers for IBM's systems.
- IBM Customer Number, or ICN, usually used for IBM Support
- IBM Site Number, usually used to download IBM products.
Generally, customers should have access to both sets of numbers when working with IBM software products.
What if I do not have my numbers?
If you do not have your ICN or IBM Site Number, contact your Primary Site Technical Contact (PSTC).
If you do not know the PSTC for your group, you can find separate instructions on locating your PSTC
If your PSTC does not have access to your ICN, contact Customer Support OnLine at (877) 426-6006 (for United States customers), or one of the numbers at IBM Planetwide (for customers outside the US). Customer Support OnLine can provide the ICN to your PSTC.
Special Notes for legacy ILOG customers
If you were an actively maintained ILOG customer at the time of the transition:
Your account should be fully migrated into IBM's systems, and assigned an IBM Customer Number and an IBM Site Number.
These should have been communicated (in a welcome e-mail) to your Primary Site Technical Contact (PSTC)
If you were not an actively maintained ILOG customer at the time of the transition:
Your account was likely not migrated into all of IBM's systems. In particular, you will be unable to access Technical Support services until entitlement is restored for your account. For assistance with this, contact Customer Support OnLine at (877) 426-6006 (for United States customers), or one of the numbers at IBM Planetwide (for customers outside the US).
