IMS 8.1 Server WAS CPU problem
CPU spikes up to 100% and remains at 100% when Websphere Application Server 18.104.22.168 is restarted on a Windows 2003 R2 Virtual machine and on some physical machines
CPU spikes up to 100% and remains at 100% when Websphere Application Server 22.214.171.124 is restarted on a Windows 2003 R2 Virtual machine or physical machine. WAS fails to restart, and there are no logs in SystemOut.log or SystemErr.log.
The installation may work as expected for some time before the problem becomes visible.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
- Install Websphere Application Server 126.96.36.199 on a Windows 2003 R2 VM.
- Restart Websphere Application Server
- CPU spikes to 100%. Restarting the machine does not help.
