Incorrect Telephony Control Server status shown in Administration Console

After shutting down the Telephony Control Server, the incorrect status is shown on the Telephony Servers page


Basic information about the Telephony Control Server is shown on Telephony Servers page within the Administration Console. This information is retrieved periodically from the Telephony Control Server to minimize the impact of monitoring on the Telephony Control Server. Effectively, this means the information displayed in the Administration Console is cached for a period of time until the Telephony Control Server is polled again, at which stage the cached data is refreshed. It is during this period of time that the out of date status may be shown.

Resolving the problem

The Telephony Control Server is polled for updated information every 2 minutes at which stage the correct status will be shown. Refresh the page after 2 minutes to verify the correct status.
