The response to a command issued via OPER RESP is multiple MLWTO messages. Only the first MLWTO response lines are returned in AOLINE variables.
Resolving the problem
The OPER RESP command needs some way to know when all response lines have been received.
When the response is a multi-line message (MLWTO), the command will terminate when the first MLWTO end marker is received.
In order to collect all response lines when the response is a series of MLWTO messages, code a TIMEOUT value on the OPER RESP command.
TIMEOUT tells the command to not end when the first end marker is seen, but to wait until the specified number of seconds has expired.
The format of the command would look something like this:
"OPER 'mvs_command' RESP TIMEOUT(5)"
