Problem
Installation of Rhapsody at later stages on Microsoft Windows Vista before completion leads to the "Error registering Rhapsody.tlb" message.
Symptom
The installation of Rhapsody on Microsoft Windows Vista fails reporting "Error registering Rhapsody.tlb" if a user is not logged in as Administrator.
Cause
If you get an error message, "Error registering Rhapsody.tlb" and you are on Microsoft Windows Vista then the likely cause is that you were not running as an Administrator.
Resolving The Problem
To resolve this issue:
- Log in as Administrator on the system
- Install Rhapsody
A secondary solution is: the .msi used to install Rhapsody should be run as administrator.
